Sadly these petitions do nothing. Success just means that the topic will be debated in parliament. Which would have to happen anyway in order to introduce the ID cards.

For the scope of this topic at hand, they do seem to explain why this is a bad idea that does follow sound logic (their larger ideologies notwithstanding).
There is always negative to be said about anyone or entity who are following any ideology. One should evaluate (individual) ideas for what they stand independently, not necessarily and always the people and the larger ideologies with which they are associated with.

I don’t watch Triggernometry either, but they usually let their guests talk, so it might be worth watching the third video for Silkie Carlo.
This is more what I was referring to. That was a good interview.
