At this point, it has become a meme. Every few months they extend it a few months. Honestly, there is no reason for you to keep using those old OS. But if you do, only use Firefox ESR 115!
I guess this might be good for older grandmas and grandpas that don’t want to update. Though likelihood is they use Chrome so switching them to Firefox will confuse them as much.
honestly the extensions are a meme at this point but there really are people stuck on win7 boxes for one dumb piece of software. r3dfox is the sane pick there. only thing i’d add is dont use that ancient setup for anything tied to your real accounts, keep it to the one app that needs it and browse everything else somewhere else. i keep a separate browser for the normal stuff, been on browse.stealth.online for a while and the old install never touches my logins.
I think the last time I tested Windows 7 on a VM was 2024 and was surprised Firefox still supports Win7. Had to hit refresh multiple times on IE to download FF.
