Seems like Lockdown is now owned by “Celestian Golden Apps“ according to the iOS app store. I’m just wondering is there’s an alternative that’s more reputable for iOS or is Lockdown still a safe app to use? Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for the response and recommendations :slightly_smiling_face: It was primarily a content blocker for iPhone, then the VPN subscription came later, I mostly used it for blocking ads from other apps, but now it’s not as good. So it’s kinda sad what happened to Lockdown after being bought …

Adguard app does mostly everything Lockdown does, except you can’t customize the filters as easily, it also blocks YouTube ads via the safari extension and it’s already recommended on that section on privacyguides.
