One of the options that KeepassXC provides is Auto-Type, where the selected username and password is copied to the clipboard and automatically pasted in the respective fields. The clipboard gets cleared within specified time, typically 5-6 seconds.
Is there a security risk, whereby the credentials could be stolen by a malicious actor/app, during the brief duration, when it is ‘openly’ accessible through the clipboard?
