From what I understand, GrapheneOS will not be directly affected by these changes, but it will likely hurt the overall ecosystem of privacy respecting apps by greatly reducing the potential audience for FOSS that is not available on the play store. It also directly reduces the privacy of developers by requiring them to verify their identity to distribute their apps on stock android. It seems like something worth spreading awareness about.
