Nym now accepts payments using the anonymous payment method GNU Taler. So far the only Taler exchange is for Swiss Franks, but Euros are still in the works.
Nym is the first online merchant that I am aware of that accepts Taler.

When do you think Taler gets enrolled in the European Union?
GLS is wants to do Euro for Germany, sadly they no longer say when 
Btw I believe you can charge a Taler Swiss Franks wallet from any SEPA account, so no country restrictions. Haven’t tried that tho
they require a phone swiss number

Only for p2p payments and probably only to receive money from someone else. P2B payments work without.
I hope that the “digital Euro" will be based on GNU Taler
GNU Taker can accept any currency, but it isn’t a currency in itself, so you have it in reverse.
