I saw that this was released
I think it might be nice to add this to the current forum for less friction regarding potential new joiners.
Not the most private but it is still better than Apple or some other SSO.

I’d prefer email-less, passkey-only signup instead of yet another SSO provider to throw onto the pile. That would be platform agnostic and much more open, secure and private.

Agreed.
Mostly saying that for people that do have a Discourse ID, it’s quick and easy to hop on our forum.
And also better than Apple or others.
