With multiple dice you need to always read them in a specific order.
So you could have 5 different colored dice and always read them in the same color sequence, for example. Or you could simply always read them from left to right, and in ambiguous cases just roll all 5 again (or come up with a tiebreaker, top to bottom perhaps?).
