I can’t say this is anonymous but I did create an account successfully without a phone number. My method was going somewhere with free wifi, connecting to that without a VPN, and setting up the Google account through the play store. I didn’t have a sim card in the phone at the time, and used I think the “fake name generator” website for name and whatever else. I’m not sure if it’s true or not but I did hear at one point that maybe not using a last name can trigger it to ask for a phone number. I also only use the account for getting a few apps, have no 2fa, and have had it for nearly a year.
i had 2fa set up on my old google account and got a new number thinking i could log in with the 2fa. nope. they in fact require text authentication quite regularly (at least over mullvad vpn). and if you’re not using a vpn, they know who you are. i gave up on the anonymous google account because i’m pretty sure it’s not possible anymore.
You paid for smspool, that claim to be none-voip, and you got banned ?
Have you had only one bad experience with them ?
I am aware that website and service can detect voip number, but real one are supposed to be ok.
You want to create a google account for what reason ?, maybe you can use an alternative.
PS: The only google account I have were created years ago without any sms verification.
IIRC, Google have been using SMS-based verification for +/- 5 years or so. OFC, correct me if I’m wrong here.So there is possibility that you created your account before Google introduced SMS-based verification.
Just use smspool.net
I’ve also tried for Ticketmaster, but they asked me to verify my number again. So I paid for it twice and just stopped using it after that.
From what I’ve read on other topics, smspool would work, but you would need to pay for it for 3-6 months.
But taking that route does contain a risk. When you drop the service, there is always the risk that Google will ask to verify again and you’d then be screwed.
Unless you pay for it long term.
Getting rid of Google is not easy, especially youtube/maps. Hopefully you find a way.
I find it far more difficult to keep something anonymous once it’s been created than to create it anonymously in the first place.
They’re probably collecting a terrifying amount of fingerprints, and even one mistake could mean it’s no longer anonymous.
you can purchase it from felixmerchant.com
Its safer than creating it yourself even with a vpn if you want anonymity.
Are you affiliated?
I’m wondering the ethics of these sold accounts. Where are they sourced?
The prices don’t look terrible $2/account 5 accounts minimum and Monero symbol shown.
What’s stopping Google requiring an SMS code once you got the account? And I’d imagine you’d need a good reputation IP address (which comes with hosts of problems) to prevent sms reverification and even still you might be asked.
Their new functioning asks the user to send an SMS. I tried with a lot of different VPN locations, browsers, devices (smartphone and desktop) and could not avoid it. Does someone knows a workaround?
I’d personnaly be inclined to trust them when they say “If you scan the QR code, your device and phone number will not be linked to the new Google account.”. What are your thoughts?
“Anonymous/private accounts” represent exactly the opposite of what Google stands for. It would be bad news for the company if these were even a remote possibility; the data would have limited value and would not come close to the quality of genuine data from authenticated user accounts.
