Interesting article from The Atlantic. What do you all think?
Personally I think “extreme privacy consultants” are a scam.
MB included?
I mean.. they do help people who want that kind of assistance with privacy, no?
Yeah, from what I’ve read in his book I’m not sure how much he’s actually helping anyone.
Can you elaborate on this and why you think so?
Doesn’t the info he provide help others learn about privacy and privacy tech at large so people can become more privacy conscious online and with the tech they use? In this case, how is PG then different?
(I’m only asking to understand where you’re coming from to such an opinion/thinking so I can understand your POV better)
I think there is a very logical interest for wealthy people to want to spend money on good advice for privacy. Not everyone has time to study this all and I unfortunately privacy doesn’t come cheap and easy
Great article.Easy to read and showed extreme privacy steps in a personalized and fair manner. Also like the quick mention that outside the US the situation is different, this is often forgotten in the privacy sphere.
