Hey Guys, I am in the middle of some big changes and want to hear your thoughts. I am about to go all in on Unifi gear, mini servers, home assistant, etc. I am currently an iPhone user. I like the idea of GOS for more privacy and security. I also want to use my phone a lot less this year. I would …

Yep, I have to talk to multiple people with SMS and unencrypted RCS and it’s painful. :smiling_face_with_tear: Sometimes they don’t have enough storage for yet another messenger but one person doesn’t trust anything else. Goes to show how much emotion place a factor for the average persons security…

tbh I occasionally send SMS where necessary but like 99% of my communication I want them to come from either RCS or Signal or Maybe Viber but if I have no choice like my sister and family for viber. but for like say one of my friends, my uncle and a physiotherapist, One uses a realme phone (ew but …

why not best of both worlds? Use those 3 to get to Signal and use the rest for iMessage.

That is true, but then the use the phone less thing still plays a part. I know that is mostly on me with will power but seeing GOS basic apps only downloaded and nothing else for sure is enticing
