I needed to fix some problems with my printer, which was connected to my home network. In order to do so i needed some sort of network scanner. In the past angry IP and some similar scanners or modem default scanners were OK, but now i needed advance capabilities. And i found https://www.fing.com. And it did the job awesomely. However i’m not keen on the fact that it constantly “talks” with their developers. So they have an “option” that they see my network settings, my modem/router passwords etc. Or I’m a being paranoid? I would like to use the software but i feel that it send way to much data back to them.
