Lots of services implement passkeys but they still force you to have a password anyway. Since passkeys are meant as password replacements and not password supplements, I wanted to have a list of websites that properly implement signing up with a passkey without ever setting a password. When requesting a service to add passkey support, many times they will want real world examples of them implemented. We can use these sites as examples of how to do passkeys properly:

There is also addy.io (and I believe that Uber and Mastodon too but not sure) ?
All of those force you to make a password when you sign up. You should be able to sign up and use the service without ever making a password.

I only use one service that does that:
Only uses email and no password.
I guess the idea must be to get people used to using passkeys and then to eventually migrate to a password less system down the line.

That’s really cool, looks like you need to buy a domain to get that far though so for demonstration purposes it’s not ideal.

Ah fair, I just remembered another one. KAYAK is also passwordless with passkeys, that could be a decent example that’s free.
