Ente Photos not working after update on GrapheneOS

Can anyone else please confirm if the Ente Photos app is working for them after the most recent update - version 1.3.32.

I installed via F-Droid yesterday and the app hangs at the loading screen indefinitely. App was working perfectly before this update.

I have emailed Ente support for help.

I confirm. I thought it was only me but it’s stuck on the ente icon since last OTA update I installed yesterday

I just downloaded the app from Obtainium and everything seems to work just fine, maybe a corrupt build or something was sent to f-droid

Thanks for checking. I can also confirm the Obtanium version works. Will update once they reply regarding the F-Droid build.

Reporting back. After a few hours now the same exact issue with ente from Obtanium, there is definitely something wrong with this version and GOS

Nothing wrong on my end but I got it installed from Aurora store

Works for me from Play Store.

Can confirm it’s working on my side but it’s managed via Obtanium, both Graphene and Ente are up to date.

There are some issues in the FDroid build, that have been identified and are working on fixing and will be releasing a hot fix soon. In the meanwhile, we are working on delisting the latest build on F-Droid so more people dont get impacted.

Not sure why @setalp ‘s reply was flagged, as I was going to mark it as the solution.

The GitHub apk works, and Ente have removed the faulty update from F-Droid and rolled it back to the previous working version, hopefully they will fix it soon. I suggest everyone moves on to the GitHub apk if you haven’t already.

This is now fixed in the latest release on FDroid (1.3.33)
