they at least have an opt out / kill switch feature. should be the standard imo. librewolf all the way
The thing I’m not liking is Mozilla will spend so much money on AI that nothing will be left over for development of other products.
I don’t follow Mozilla on any social media, but it’s sad to see that 9/10 posts contain the word “AI”.
At the end of the day, having AI or not doesn’t change anything: it will still go and fetch the data from the Internet, Reddit etc.
It’s just a more powerful search engine and needs to be taken with a grain of salt, like anything read on the Internet. It meanwhile makes the fetching a bit faster.
@any1 Oh! You seems to be dev of LibreWolf!
Thank you for your hard work! Trully awesome browser!
I think AI at whole is too political. Try asking something about current conflicts and it will spread propaganda in 5/10 cases in best. Because it was trained on such shit.
Yes to AI in general as a technology, but no to AI in a Web browser or search engine. I use AI on my own terms when I need it for coding, research overviews and miscellaneous writing, but don’t want it forced down my throat when I am doing something else.
It isn’t just me. I’m just a more recent addition to the team.
Thank you! I try my best ![]()
