Need a way for others to contact me to display on a presentation. SIgnal is fine and accesible, but I don´t want to share my profile picture, which I use for family & friends.
Change it temporarily. But if you’re adding contacts, profile picture is always revealed as I understand it.

It does reveal the profile picture that you set unless the recipient has you on contact discovery then signal will actually use the local contact profile picture if they set one.
By QR code I mean the username feature. So I don´t share my phone number.

Yeah I was clarifying. This is kinda of a bummer, I guess I will just share my email instead I guess. I don´t want to remove it. Wish there was a way to restrict it to Contacts only.
