Would really appreciate some help if anyone has experience with diffusionbee. It’s not on the privacyguides recommendations for local AIs, but I don’t know whether that’s just because it’s not multiplatform, or whether it’s also not considered safe. Do we know if its claims to keep everything on device and not transmit any data unless requested by the user are verified? Thanks for any help.
Had a quick look and it looks legit to me. You could also always block connections with LittleSnitch.
However: the project seems abondoned (last release from 2024 GitHub - divamgupta/diffusionbee-stable-diffusion-ui: Diffusion Bee is the easiest way to run Stable Diffusion locally on your M1 Mac. No dependencies or technical knowledge needed. ) + StableDiffusion as the underlying AI model is also abandoned ( GitHub - CompVis/stable-diffusion: A latent text-to-image diffusion model last changes are 4 to 5 years old)

The overall website looks quite low quality SaSS slope with a wrapper around FOSS tools.
I’d recommend installing Stable Diffusion on your own machine from HuggingFace or alike and use a UI on top of it to do the things you’re looking for, no need to use a product to achieve that exact same goal.
