Hi friends, I’m in the process of de-googling my life. After downloading all Google account data, and creating a new email, I would love to be able to simply delete my entire google account, however, for the foreseeable future, I need to keep my gmail account live for professional reasons. Searching online, I can’t find any answers as to how I can completely wipe all of my google account data (drive, photos, chrome, cloud, Gemini, etc, ~15GB) without also deleting my Gmail account. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

You can log into different services from your account and gradually delete everything there. I haven’t heard of a way to delete all your data with one click. Keep in mind that while you’re deleting this data for yourself in Google, it’s still there for Google.
If you’re trying to leave the entire Google ecosystem, could you maybe consider creating something else (like Proton email) and then switch your professional contacts/accounts there maybe?
Would be a clean slate from the beginning and not a half-done process that you need to come back to. ![]()
