I’ve already written a little about Chat Control in this article back in February, but yes, we are planning to do more. This is a very important issue.

The EU can shake its fist at the sky.

These restrictions can be trivially bypassed by running free software and your own DNS server.

If the goal is to control the masses, then it’ll still consider a huge success when only a handful of people can bypass it. After all, the targets that the government have to go after just shrink significantly.

For example, there are a small amount of Mainland Chinese who can bypass The Great Firewall, but The Great Firewall is still a huge success in the eye of the CCP. Those people will risk being fined/jailed, though.
