Card masking tool

And I have to remind, nothing I see doesn’t meet the criteria’s of PG unless they decide to change to say “Not have questionable privacy policy” or something and considering all options in PG are US only as well

Many banks and credit card providers offer native virtual card functionality.”

Many banks = only Revolut

No there are a few, I think recently for example eurobank has added native prepaid virtual cards

And I think there are more banks, but idk about other examples. Maybe some Dutch banks? Others will have to step in

not exactly, I believe this is meant to refer to all kinds of banks that offer virtual cards for mobile payments. Which are several of.

Re GrapheneOS read https://xcancel.com/GrapheneOS/status/1881860511526215998#m
Re other things, Revolut is also known for its aggressive upselling, which is what turns me away the most, whereas something like Wise has a more transparent business model and fee structure, and I feel more comfortable using them as a result. The downside is that they only allow you to hold 3 virtual cards (you can rotate them as you wish) and 2 debit cards at the same time. Neither of them is a privacy service though.

And don’t get me started on the subscription
They do be pulling an adobe with the monthly subscription
With that said I canceled when they decide to raise the prices.

I’m sure wise is great but yeah it is limited on Virtual Cards

Can we please share those banks that offer virtual cards? Not credit cards providers please.

I asked this question before: Revolut (Multinational* Card Masking Financial Service) - #62 by Cyber-Typhoon

If we can count the number of those institution in a hand I would consider it a handful not many.

basically any bank offers this (although most through Google Pay), i think you are misunderstanding what i am saying. But also this is going very off topic.

Thats wrong.

Any major bank in my country doesn’t support it.

Ok, so that is how you address the question. Honest, that is not an option for privacy conscious people and probably should not be the direction of PG as well.

Why? We are discussing alternatives to Revolut because it isn’t a good option and then it became off-topic. Not sure what is on topic.

It may depend on where you are based.

There are at least four or five options in the UK if not more.

Nope not any bank necessarily

there is several providers outside, but that is off topic on whether revolut is a fit for the website. There are other threads on the forum discussion other options. Use the search functionality…

What other options? There are no discussions for othe options because there are no alternatives other than wise and revolut.

Again use the search… Curve Pay available as alternative to Google Pay on GrapheneOS in certain regions - #32 by quitet.gear

Google Pay != virtual cards.

Not every site accepts it.

it is quite literally virtual.

To be very clear things are subject to change if it’s available I’ll check it out

Not that their privacy policy is that much better.
