Can AdGuard VPN be trusted?

Sure, it happens from time to time. We just respond as it is: we don’t have the logs to figure out which customer was using the given IP:port.

Hey !

I’ve been reading some discussions about AdGuard Home and wanted to bring up a recurring point that came up in a forum I follow. Some people seem to agree that self-hosting, especially for non-experts, can be tricky—not necessarily because of AdGuard Home itself but due to the broader configuration of their infrastructure (setting up the server, securing SSH, managing SELinux, etc.).

Would it be possible for you guys to create some articles or guides on how to properly secure a self-hosted setup from start to finish? I think it would help a lot of users who follow the basic install guide but might not be aware of all the other steps needed to keep things secure. A “best practices” guide for server security would be super helpful!

Just thought I’d throw that out there! Thanks a new time for the awesome work so far!

There’re several self-hosting setups, but most of the important things are already outlined here:

I’m wondering if there is a version of AdGuard for Chromebook in the works?
