Most people don’t know most things their smartphones can now do. It’s not about habits. It’s about the populous not being tech savvy/knowledgeable enough.
Also, we don’t have a big marketing keynote that would mimic Apple’s yearly event.
Especially because of Android’s fragmentation and the fact that people are busy selling AI more than useful small tiny incremental improvements. ![]()
Somehow pen and paper writing down a number seems to be faster, more private and maybe secure as well, depending where you are.
I mean I bet you guys have NFC toggled off, so how many steps/clicks do you actually take before an actual transfer vs just writing it down ![]()

I’ve only ever used this feature on accident. In Japan I was trying to get someone to AirDrop me a file and I thought proximity might make it connect. She thought I was trying to get her contact info ![]()
