I generally agree with Rossman here. Although the person’s intentions may have been more genuine and sincere than Rossman gives him credit for, the person’s ideology is naive at best. I wonder if this person has considered what it would mean to apply their logic to every other area of their life? If they did, I think they would see how quickly it becomes utterly absurd. For example, using their logic, if they don’t know how to grow, harvest, process and cook each and every food and ingredient they consume, then they have no right to eat such things. Or if they don’t know how to build a car from the ground up, they have no right to be driving. Or if they don’t know how to plumb a house, they have no right to use a toilet…
