SpamAssassin’s `SUSP_NTLD` includes `.ooo`. However, the new registration price for this top-level domain is not that cheap. Why has this domain become a hotbed for spammers even though it is not inexpensive? Why is it included in Suspicious TLDs?

Highly likely historically it got dirt cheap 1st year registration price, hit and run spammer swarmed it, it got listed on spamhaus and are now forever tainted.

[tld-list.com](http://tld-list.com) used to have chart listing pricing history for all tld but its now gone after site change so i can’t check. I usually avoided weird newgen gtld for exactly that reason. The old popular gtld .com .net .org and popular cctld are safer bet for email usage than those weird newgen gtld.

So that is the historical background. I learned a lot.
I am curious about the changes in the historical lowest prices. I hope there are other services where I can check this…
