If you want privacy and security better than Linux, Windows, and even ChromeOS, you can use GrapheneOS’s desktop mode and display to an external monitor! GrapheneOS is technically a Linux distro, and you can now run traditional Linux VMs with it! Note that desktop mode is in beta, and the VMs are experimental, so secureblue or even MacOS or Windows still have many advantages for most threat models.
