# What happened to the hidden text formatting feature on PG?

There was a feature in the text formatting options that allowed you to hide text. People typically used to address things that were off-topic.

I believe the code looked like this:

> > Hidden Text.

**What happened to it?**

I don’t see it anymore in the UI.

**Why does the code also not work anymore?**

I don’t use PG on mobile, but thanks for letting me know. This is so weird because just a couple of days ago, it was available on desktop, and now it’s not anymore, which made me wonder if it was deliberately removed. Now I wonder if it’s a bug. I’m now noticing from your sreenshot that many other formatting options were removed too, like the spoiler blur.

**Are you doing it via code or via the UI on desktop?**

Your screenshot suggests the latter. This is so weird because I don’t see it anymore, as you can see it in the screenshot I shared. Also, when I copy and paste the code, it is not reflected in the preview.

You click the “+” icon and you’ll see it in there. No code.

This is so weird. I just logged in my account in the same browser (FF), but in a private window, and I see hidden text formatting option, as well as all the others that were missing.

So I thought, maybe I’ve been logged in my account to long on this browser, and I need to log out and log back in again in the normal window. I tried doing that, and it did not fix the issue. I am still not seeing the hidden text option when I used to just days ago.

Why am I seeing it in the private window but not in the regular window? I haven’t installed any new extensions in the last couple of days. The only difference is that with the normal window PG is in container, but it has always been.

I don’t get it.
