With a strong password and secure keyfile, your VeraCrypt volume is almost impossible to access without the keyfile, even for advanced attackers. For most people, this setup is overkill unless targeted by high-level threats. It’s incredibly safe for average users. I’d even go as far as to say that it’s an over-sacrifice of convenience if you access it often.
