It’s the fourth question/answer on the FAQ, which states K-9 efforts for 1 year from when Thunderbird mobile is released. So clock is ticking.

I’d just hope k-9 gets forked, I have shifted to betterbird.eu with my config

I don’t trust mozilla anymore.
