These past few weeks have been nothing but bad things

Or the third news. The only “bad” thing would be the Apple Maps ads post, but that is more of a rumor if anything

We all know what is happening (some more than others), but I must admit that this is only the beginning of the implementation of a digital dictatorship, as I have said on other occasions. Little by little, they are restricting all the methods we have to “escape” the system a little. They already did it with cryptocurrencies, which were supposed to be created to be free and not controlled by any bank or government. Now try to buy cryptocurrencies and you will see that most sites require you to provide your first and last name, address, phone number, date of birth, image of your ID, and photos of your face. Even so, there are still a few alternatives to escape this control, but governments will always want to get their claws into any solution that gives users a little freedom and privacy.

So yes, these are bad times for privacy and freedom, always under false pretexts, of course.

Peer to peer has always been the answer.

Degoogling is already possible it’s just that it involves a lifestyle choice, but even when linux phones are perfected that lifestyle choice will remain so long as the governmental authorities allow the big G to do as they please. Certainly for those of us living in the western hemisphere dependent upon Android phones.

Freedom will always come with a price tag the only point that still remains in question is just how long it will take people to realise it.

This is the exact business case for foundations and non-profit corporations.

There’s no reason for growth other than in pursuit of profits, as profits and growth are metrics for success in private, for-profit companies.

So change the metrics! If the metrics are stability and sustainability, none of the perverse incentives around growth take hold. There are plenty of non-profits and foundations that happily chug along, doing the same thing and maintaining a comfortable status quo for decades. It’s not only doable, there are examples to learn from.

chat control ? …. oh I forgot this things , we are winner ?

Just ungoogle yourself and to hell with ‘em I say. Just make sure you have a decent spoofing phone and over time you will regain your self respect. As for how long it will take, it all depends on just how much you have entangled yourself, but one thing for sure is that the more entangled you become, the longer it will take.

One thing I can guarantee, speaking from experience, is that it does give you a bit of a high once you find your real self on the opposite side of the wall.
