# Signal with something like WhatsApp communities groups

I’m looking for Signal to offer something similar to WhatsApp’s community groups. I need to manage 3 or 4 groups on Signal with different topics, but unless I can group all these topics under a single group name, it gets too complicated.

So far, it seems like Signal isn’t planning to add community groups like WhatsApp has. I want to maintain the same level of privacy that Signal offers. Is there any way to achieve this, or are there alternatives?

Matrix is an option, although it’s less secure than Signal I think.

On the Signal forum I’ve seen a lot of people wanting this feature like Whatsapp, there’s a chance it’ll happen but I don’t know when.

better would be something like telegram groips with topics.

not really less secure but just less mature as a social app.

yeah its a messenger, but unless matrix gets evolved tommorrow I need spaces in Signal.

On the Signal forum I said, a request from the community that quite a few people want, I don’t know if Signal plans to implement it or not one day.
