They could sell Signal activation cards on Amazon like Mullvad does. Obviously other platforms as well and then some could sell them for Monero.

That’s actually a good idea and will help mitigate the problem of spam accounts. Hopefully, Signal will put that money to good use and not make it expensive!

Something else that was brought up in the QnA was using blinded tokens for separating payment from the account, so I think Signal is well equipped to solve the privacy issues with payment.
