# Rocky Linux from CIQ - Hardened

I wanted to bring [Rocky Linux from CIQ - Hardened](https://ciq.com/blog/available-now-a-security-focused-linux/) (RLC-H) to the community’s attention. It released a few weeks ago and haven’t seen it mentioned here before.

It came up in my feed recently and, although I haven’t found much detail, I know it has hardened malloc and that flawedworld (GrapheneOS developer [of YouTube fame](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkQ_OCzuLNg)) is part of their [Security SIG](https://ciq.com/blog/available-now-a-security-focused-linux/).

My thinking is that this could be a viable contender for community members who are interested in having a hardened server OS…
