# Remove the DNSCrypt support for NextDNS

Hey, I would like to suggest the removal of the support for DNSCrypt protocol in NextDNS, as it doesn’t support it at all. The only configuration for dnscrypt-proxy uses the DOH (Dns over HTTPS) to connect to NextDNS, this is the same as their own CLI client. [Here’s a link of them saying that DNSCrypt isn’t supported.](https://help.nextdns.io/t/p8hsmfq/does-nextdns-really-support-dnscrypt)
