Remove Targeted Attacks tag on OpenPGP

Why should this tool be removed?

Many security researchers and cryptographers don’t like PGP, so I don’t think it should be listed as suitable for higher risk activity.

I don’t think a targeted attacker is going to be able to decrypt a PGP message regardless of their resources :slight_smile:

A lot of the problems with PGP that people have are actually problems with email. We have already exhaustively covered the problems with using email for communication, so I don’t see any changes necessary here.

Thanks for the response, I had not considered those points!

However, couldn’t an a attacker infer things based on metadata, especially if emails are frequently sent?

What gives OpenPGP targeted protection that Cryptomator doesn’t have?

(If possible, could you try to keep your answer simple? I don’t know much about cryptography)
