It’s copyright infringement when done with intention. The allegation is the content creators conspired with their mods to drive traffic to their platform and profit of the original creator’s work. Sharing copyrighted material on reddit is usually organic and the mods could have this plausible deniability. But if there’s evidence of this being true, it means multiple parties were complicit, not just the creators.
