Necro-posting here as a heads up that their privacy policy has shifted markedly. My limited exposure was that they were a quasi-privacy search engine, but the current privacy policy insinuates that they appear more neutral re: privacy as they hold onto your IP address (w/o anonymization) for 6 months, and then retain it for two more years anonymized. They also have multiple partners listed, including Microsoft.
Updating more as a PSA to those that use or are flirting with the idea of using Qwant. I almost added it to my searxng instance until I checked out their privacy policy
