question about DFU mode

Hi everyone! I’m new to DFU mode, so I have some questions below :flushed_face:

  1. Is the iPhone after DFU same? I mean, Whether the iPhone version is Japanese or European, is the new signed IPSW downloaded by DFU the same as the rest of the world？
    Do I need to connect VPN before entering the DFU mode?
    It’s very difficult to enter the DFU model under VPN because my newwork speed is slow, and if the new signed IPSW are global, it’s obviously better to enter DFU mode directly rather than enter in VPN environment because IPSW needs roughly 5-8G.

  2. I learned that Windows is using iTunes for DFUs, MacOS is using finder for DFUs.
    Will the DFU mode possibly make the other local folders in finder enter a short online mode? Do I need to worry about local data leaks?
