# Problems connecting with some Wi-Fi using a VPN

Hello, first time posting, I currently use Mullvad VPN, and It’s great. I’ve never had any problems with it except when trying to use it on a public Wi-Fi, specially at my university or in a clinic.  
I’ve already tried all the things I’ve read on the internet changing ports, using obfuscation, changing API, I even tried with IVPN and no result, I tried once with Orbot and nothing. It’s exasperating. I wondered if maybe there was a roundabout way to do this, please if you offer a complicated tip, explain it easily. I’m really just a normie trying to keep my privacy. Thanks
