# PrivacyGuides Offline? (Back Online Now!)

[privacyguides.org](https://privacyguides.org) is returning a [502 Bad Gateway](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status/502) error. As far as I can tell it is widespread but I figure I should ask if anyone else is experiencing the same issue?

I moved it to a different server yesterday and forgot to increase Linux’s default file descriptor limit for the webserver process :laughing:

Some things on the main [privacyguides.org](http://privacyguides.org) site still seem wonky too. [How Do VPNs Protect Your Privacy? Our VPN Overview - Privacy Guides](https://www.privacyguides.org/en/basics/vpn-overview/?h=vpn) for example is inaccessible.

I am also having issues connecting to [privacyguides.org](http://privacyguides.org) with Mullvad Browser, using Mullvad VPN and a SOCKS proxy using their browser extension. It works when I’m not using the proxy through the extension but still using SOCKS multihop in the app which seems very bizarre to me. I only mention this because I am only seeing these issues on that site.

edit: please let me know if the above makes no sense. I am aware it is quite verbose, but I’m not sure how else to explain the issue.

Can you see if it is any better? I think the first issue should be fixed, but I’m not sure what is going on in the second case. Maybe they are related and that is fixed as well though.

Yep, the first issue is fixed, thank you. The second issue remains perplexing and is unfortunately unresolved.
