Prioritizing compactness on a Phone while maintaining privacy (& security) within the constraints

I do have a smartwatch, the only problem with them is that they lack signal and other things.
Not mentioning my watch without being near the phone stopped receiving calls recently, I’m not sure if it needs reconnecting with the phone it originally connected to or need to call the carrier (even though i can make calls just fine)
