Hi folks, we wanted to update the community that Obscura is now available on Linux. We currently support Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, Fedora Atomic Desktops, Arch and their derivatives.
Also: We’ve changed our license to GPLv3

Nice. Congrats.
What’s next now that the cross platform story is done? (:
ianal etc Unless Obscura owns 100% copyright of the code[1] & data (including translations) bundled into its iOS /macOS apps, GPLv3 is incompatible with App Store EULA. That said, glad Polyform has been ditched.[2]
This among other things mean Obscura can’t merge 3p code contribution under GPLv3. ↩︎

A pause VPN feature and split tunneling are the main ones. We also have many other quality of life features planned!
Interesting note for users of the Mullvad Browser extension: you can continue using the extension as is with Obscura, since the only requirement the Mullvad extension has is using an exit server provided by Mullvad.
Same with Tailscale and Mullvad exit nodes!
