I have been using graphene OS for 3-4 years, and I was thinking what is better for payments, to use a Huawei watch that allows NFC payments, (for my physical activity and everything else I use gadgetbridge) or to use the normal bank card, I always prefer to use cash but I usually go shopping at Lidl and pay in automatic machines that do not allow cash
They are probaby not significantly different on the privacy front. I assume tap to pay with watch is equivalent to the tap with cards (always tap don’t swipe). But maybe the watch adds a third party.
The privacy issues with banks are terrible, read about it if you want more convincing to go out of your way to use cash.
