# Mimo for learning to code different languages?

What does the community think of learning to code new languages with mimo? Or is it a privacy nightmare like duolingo?

Seems like a pretty standard service. All they’re getting is your code and your email etc. If you want the most private way to learn to code then that would probably be using [freecodecamp.org](http://freecodecamp.org) without an account.

I usually use a combination of buying a decent book on a language, doing some leetcode to get some of the algorithms right, referencing popular FOSS projects, then finally just do small projects and SearXNG what I need help with. These services never really got me as far as just doing a project.
