I saw a Macbook Air 15inch M4, but I don’t know if this has the newest user security and user privacy enhancements?

Is it worth to save a few $$$ by going for a Macbook Air M4 instead of the M5?

Yeah I thought this would be a problem… It’s a shame because the Macbook Air M4 CPU has more than enough computing power for my needs. I think you’re right that it’s worth shelling out the extra coin for the M5 CPU…

I’d avoid System76 if you care about customer support, I have heard much better things about Framework and their community. NovaCustom and Tuxedo Computers might also be decent options but if you want the big brand reputation just go for Dell or Lenovo.

Keep in mind you don’t have to buy a PC with Linux pre-installed to use Linux, it’s just the easiest way to ensure it will work with Linux. So long as you do your research you can probably get away with buying a Windows laptop if you’re not happy with any of the Linux options.
