3 of the 4 distros on that list that supposedly use LUKS1, have changed to LUKS2:
- OpenSUSE used LUKS1 as a workaround due to a design decision they made (encrypting /boot). I just checked in a test VM, and it appears LUKS2 is now being used. (confirmed)
- Tails – Uses LUKS2 by default since may of last year
- Ubuntu – the Ubuntu version they list is ~6 years old. The current version of Ubuntu uses LUKS2 by default (confirmed in a VM)
- Manjaro – Not sure about Manjaro
