If I make a transaction inside the Litecoin MWEB, how many plausible other people could be the sender of the transaction?

Just use Monero malaka

That doesn’t answer my question.

Its hard to find any clear statements on this, but it seems like:

Amount are confidential but you can see which output comes from which input in the mempool, the linkage visible in the mempool and only removed to save storage after the block was mined.

And even if it was also hidden in the mempool:
There seems to be juts 1-3 Litecoin transaction per MWEB block.

So if this information is correct (sources are unclear) then MWEBs privacy is a joke.

Compared to the other available tools it probably is. No one is using it. The answer to this problem is always Monero.

Monero or Ecash or Zcash

No one uses these.

For Ecash your are correct (currently), but not for Zcash.
Zcash has a bigger market cap then Monero

$TRUMP had a bigger market cap than Monero at one point. Market cap doesn’t mean anyone actually uses it for anything.

I didn’t believe that when I read it, but it is true.

That doesn’t mean anyone uses it though. It just has VC backing. Looking at the charts it’s a pump and dump clear as day. There’s no reason it should have pumped that hard in the first place.

Furthermore there are so few shielded Z cash Tx you stand out making them.

Monero is the choice that is actually used for a reason.

$TRUMP has no technical merit.
Zcash has.

In the last 4 quarters (Q4 2025 - Q3 2026) there was an average of 1895 shielded transactions per day.
There are 4.1M Zcash in the latest pool, so there are probably millions of possible people who could all be the sender receiver of these transactions.
Compare this to a pool of 16 per transactions.

Monero is like 30k per day.

On a technical level, the sender side privacy is better with Zcash. But that’s like saying Telegram secret chats are technically better than PGP so you should use that. There’s things outside of technicalities. Also when FCMP are implemented this will no longer be relevant, and Zcash won’t even have a theoretical edge.

Are you telling me that if you were in a life or death situation, you would use Zcash for privacy and anonymity over Monero? If so, why don’t we see that in the real world with people in that exact situation?
