When I watch videos through Libretube does it give the uploader of the video another view on YouTube?

I don’t know for sure but I’m inclined to say: no. It’s not the YouTube website. It doesn’t know if you’ve watched the whole video. Plus: Piped servers are proxies for YouTube, that are used by a lot of people. At most a Piped proxy _could_ give one view to a video, for thousands, tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of actual viewers.

Then you’re going to have to a) use YouTube without ads, or b) support them some other way (donations, merch, etc.)
