Sure, but your claim about not trusting the server, whether using native apps or websites, remain false, because you must establish a connection and handshake to begin with and cannot eliminate trust from the equation.
Yeah, there’s trust for reliability, metadata, and probably other things. But you’re not trusting the server to not look at your files, because it can’t.
