Do they usually give two upgrade options, like they’re doing with 18.7 and 26.0 simultaneous releases?

Along with iOS 26.0, Apple also released iOS 15.8.5, 16.7.12, and 18.7. So it’s not just 18.7 and 26.0. iPhones 6s released in 2015 can be updated to iOS 15.8.5. iOS 17 is officially discontinued because iOS 18 doesn’t drop support for any iPhone.

Weird, I tested this a while back and it seemed to hold the circuit for each top level site for a few minutes after close. So it is strange to see the cookie jar different for each link opened in a tab and the logic seems different if invoked by user vs the website.

I don’t know the logic behind it. But if you tap & hold → Open Link in New Tab, then the IP address won’t be changed. However, if you manually open a new tab and go to the same website on the new tab, then the IP address will be changed. Regardless, Private Mode consistently works more like Tor Browser than mainstream browsers.
