Performance impact after update is normal because OS needs to do a bunch of indexing and maintenance work, you can see this on activity monitor if you are on mac, after a few hours or days it will return to usual performance. Same old story.
I really hope so because I just updated my M4 Mac Mini, the stuttering when watching video, and the mouse stuttering as well is just unacceptable. I turned all the Spotlight search shit off, turned off transparency and motion as well, and it’s helped slightly, but it still stutters some.
